We made it through the 5 week "risk period". We received the phone call yesterday that the birthmom terminated her parental rights in court. We are beyond thrilled because that means that GUS IS ALL OURS!!! Thank you so much for all of the support that you have all given to us.
Now we can start to relax and start living. First up....Gus' first road trip. We are on our way to Connecticut to see the Swidorskis and attend the baptism of their twin girls, Ellie and Rachel. Joel and I are honored that Sara and Jacob asked us to be the girls godparents and we are super excited that our little families get to hang out this weekend. Life is so good right now. We are praising God for all of his blessings and we are totally on cloud 9.
